I am a firefighter/emt and I had a call for an infant not breathing. As it turns out the infant had been murdered by the babysitter. I did CPR for about 30 minutes but I was not able to get the infant back. I am not allowed to say anymore about the call.

Another call I had was with a man from the Middle East. I am a female and men do not respect women there. It was hard because I had to take care of a patient who did not want my help because I am female. His family also did not want me to help him. My partner was also female so we had to do the best we could for our patient despite the circumstance. Everything went well in the end.

One weird call we got was when someone called 911 for a paper cut. I kid you not. We cleaned it up.
