Well, I am 17 years old. So I’m not really a fire fighter. I am a Cadet on a fire department though and I like it a lot. They are like my second family.

When I graduate high school, I want to go into the military and be a fire fighter. I used to want to be a pilot, still do, but I want to fly for fun, not a career.

My fire department has helped me out so much. Before I joined, I didn’t really know what to do and they have helped guide me. I have learned so much there. It makes me upset when I hear people at school put fire fighters down. It seems like they don’t realize how dangerous this job can be.

Since I’m not 18, I can’t really do anything, but I do get to do the training. My favorite is the medical training. Sometimes we get so into it that the scenarios seem so real.
